Jon Barker grew up in several states across America and attended college at Samford University, graduating with a major in Theory and Composition with principles in piano, voice, and percussion. He has participated in extensive mission work throughout Europe, Asia, Central America, Africa, Australia, and most of the US. Since 1989, Jon has been writing, teaching, and leading worship in churches across the nation. He has also been listed several times amongst the top 15 Christian music composers in the world within the past 12 years.His songs have been sung on 5 continents and countless countries. Jon has been an ordained minister since 1996. Being a songwriter, music director, composer, singer, and father to 3 daughters (Nora, Mattie, and Lindsay), life stays every exciting for Jon. One of the constants in his life is that he longs to share the hope of Jesus Christ with all he meets.
