OUR PURPOSE

Chapin Presbyterian Church ReFormed Youth Ministry exists to come along side families in equipping students for life (Ephesians 4:10-16) with the tools necessary to understand the scriptures and make sense of the world around them.

REFORMED COMMUNITY NIGHT

We gather as a large group on Sunday nights from 5-7 p.m.  This includes a free meal with our large group! The structure of the evening is eat first, followed by worship and large group discussion. Then we break out into small groups based on grades and gender (see bullet points below).  Each of the groups below are lead by adult youth volunteers.  The evening concludes with games and fellowship.

RYM HIGH SCHOOL BEACH TRIP

The high school ministry will be heading to Panama City Beach, FL, to attend one of the premier youth conferences in the Southeast! We will be attending the Reformed Youth Ministries (RYM) Summer Youth Conference June 30 – July 4. Hundreds of Presbyterian churches all over the Southeast attend this conference each year. Our students will have a fantastic experience of nightly worship as we consider that week’s theme, “God with us!” They will also have the opportunity to attend elective courses on various biblical and relevant topics taught by gifted youth pastors from a Reformed biblical perspective. We will get to enjoy the beautiful white sands of the Gulf Coast and compete against other area churches in various activities and tournaments. If you can’t make it this year, don’t fret; we plan to take both middle school and school students to RYM next summer.

Lodging: Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center 20016 Front Beach Rd. Panama City Beach, FL

Cost: $225 per student. This covers conference costs, lodging, on-site meals, and travel expenses.

To secure a spot on this trip, please submit a $50 deposit as soon as possible, with the remaining balance of $175 due by Sunday, May 25th. Contact Youth Director Chris Sanders for more information.
