Community Groups

Community Groups are ideal for growing as a disciple of Christ through personal relationships with each other and participating in the community around us. With God’s Word as our foundation and guide in our daily lives, Community Groups foster discipleship by committing to prayer and loving one another.
Chapin Presbyterian Community Groups usually meet in homes, generally 2-3 times per month. Some share a meal or snacks, then come together for Bible study. Community Groups include participants of all ages and stages of life.
New leaders are encouraged to start new groups. If you want to grow in your faith walk by leading a Community Group, please contact Pate Cooper ( for more information.

Developing Your Leadership Skills as a Small Group Leader

At CPC we are passionate about the discipling one another in small groups as we seek to Magnify Christ in our hearts, our homes and in the world. We value our small group leaders and we want to come alongside you by developing your leadership skills.

On Thursday June15th from 6:30PM to 8PM we will conduct a Small Group Leadership Training Seminar at the church for all that are interested. You may be new to small group leadership, you may have never been trained, or you may be seasoned and looking to mentor others.

Whether you are interested in men’s, women’s or community group leadership, we hope you will join us for this seminar.
