SAINTLY SENIORS

Faith – Fun – Friends

Who are the “Saintly Seniors?” If you remember using a dial telephone, you might be a “Saintly Senior!”

Striving to have Jesus’ love shine through us as we mature spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Always putting Him first in our lives.

This group was started in summer of 2019 with the purpose of bringing together seniors to become better acquainted and to minister to the needs of our senior members and friends. As a new group we are still in the beginning stages of learning our main purpose of serving each other’s needs.

We currently have monthly gatherings including a meal, devotion, program which might include a fun topic or informational topic. Our gatherings are themed to go with the time of year. The meals are varied with some being catered, some covered dish, and some cooked by the senior men’s bible study. Cost is very minimal. We vary meeting times to include the seniors that don’t like to be out at night and the seniors that are still working.

We hope to have day and overnight trips planned for the near future.

We are a work in progress learning how to better serve the senior community at CPC.
